I created a simple scene with the fabulous Heart Tree Die-namics. I just LOVE this die! I used the inlay technique on this card, it is a little time consuming but I love the look it creates. I sponged Distress Ink on Smooth White card stock for all the elements on the card. The following colours were used, Festive Berries, Gathered Twigs, Mowed Lawn, Twisted Citron, Tumbled Glass, and Broken China. The hearts were finished with a little Nuvo Crystal Glaze.
I created a little nugget tin to go along with the card. I used the same Heart Tree Die-namics. Before I die-cut the tree, I backed the card stock with Double Sided Adhesive which made adhering it to the tin a breeze. I wrapped the nuggets and the bottom of the tin with the new Sweet Stack paper pack. The sentiment is from the new Wonderful Woodland Friends stamp set, which coordinates with the Heart Tree Die-namics.
Here's a quick peek at the two projects together. I don't know about you, but I would love to receive a little something like this as a surprise.
