Serious Chemistry

We've got another fabulous sketch for you this week. One of the things that I love about sketch challenges is that you can use them as a starting point for a card. You don't need to follow every detail of the sketch, just go with what inspires you. That's what I did with this week's sketch challenge, I replaced the circle with this hot little dude from the Cute Chemists stamp set.

Love Is In the Air

We have a love filled feature going on for the next few days on the MFT Blog. Today we are sharing some fun gifts for teachers and kids. I created a trio of projects to share with you.

First up I have a little coffee cup holder. The cups are the small 4oz size that can easily be found on Amazon. I covered each cup with the striped paper from the Sweet Stack patterned paper pack. I finished off the cups with a couple of Ripe Raspberry hearts. The holder was created with Blu Raspberry card stock and Sweet Stack patterned paper. The sweet little bird is from the Tweethearts stamp set. These cups can be filled with chocolates, sweet hearts or any other small candy.

My next creation is a tea bag holder. These tea bags are from Murchie's, and if you have ever been to Victoria, you have probably stepped into this iconic store. It is an amazing place. Okay back to the tea bags, these bags are slightly wider than a normal tea bag so my holder is a bit wider than normal. To decorate the front I used another little bird and a sentiment from the Sweet Celebrations stamp set.

My final project features the sweet Nugget Pouches and the Treat Tag. I just love this new collection of products. They make creating little treats a breeze!

Here's one last look at the trio of products that are perfect for those amazing teachers in your life.

Valentine Treats

It's that fabulous time of the month when all the new release products are available. All the Stamps, Die-namics, Stencils, and accessories can be found HERE

I have some fun and easy Valentine treats to share with you today. First up I have a trio of Nugget Pouch Tags to share with you. I just love the new Nugget Pouches and I know you will too. My starting point for these tags was the fabulous Sweet Stack patterned paper. I picked out a few prints that I wanted to use, and then I choose the coordinating card stock colors, Cotton Candy, Wild Wisteria, and Berrylicious.

I used the Treat Tag Die-namics to cut out the tags and the Nugget Label, Window, & Frame Die-namics to add the details. I finished off the tags with sentiments from the Sweet Celebrations stamp set, a touch of ribbon and twine.

My second set of projects features the ever popular Lip Blam Pouches, Tall Tag Duo Die-namics, and the Lip Balm Window & Frame Die-namics. I covered the lip balms with prints from the new Sweet Stack paper pack.

I added sentiments from the Sweet Celebrations stamp set, and a sweet little heart created with the Lots of Hearts Die-namics and the Lots of Hearts Outlines Die-namics. I finished off the tags with a bit of ribbon.

Don't forget to leave a comment on the MFT Blog countdown posts, YOU could win one of the five $75.00 gift vouchers.

I have a fun treat bag to share with you today. I started out with an inexpensive kraft bag, and I added a Valentine's treat tag to it. The tag was created with the Treat Tag die, Smooth White card stock and Sweet Stack patterned paper. The adorable fox was created with the Friendly Fox Die-namics. This little guy is so easy to put together! I die-cut the pieces in Desert Storm card stock and then I sponged the card stock with Tea Dye Oxide Ink. I sponged the edges of the card stock with Tea Dye Distress Ink and I added a bit of Spun Sugar to the ears, eyes, and nose.

I added a sweet sentiment from the Sassy Pants Love stamp set to finish the tag. The tag was finished off with some ribbon and twine.

Thanks for joining me again today and thank you all so much for all of the sweet comments. Be sure to check out the MFT Blog to see all the amazing creations the design team has to share with you today.

Hearts Entwined

Thank you for joining me as we count down to the MFT release. We are just two days away from the big day! All the new Stamps, Die-namics, and Stencils will be available on Tuesday, January 8 at 10:00 am EST. Be sure to check out the MFT Blog to see all the new items being revealed today. I have a couple of cards to share with you today, they both feature the amazing Hearts Entwined Die-namics. I LOVE this die! For my first card I created an ombre background with Spiced Marmalade, Abandoned Coral, Picked Raspberry, and Frayed Burlap Distress Ink. I die-cut the Hearts Entwined in Smooth White and I double stacked it to give it a little extra depth. I stamped a sentiment from the Sassy Pants Love stamp set on a Stitched Fishtail Sentiment Strips.

For my second card I die-cut the hearts in Silver Sparkle card stock, I love the way these hearts shimmer. I paired them with Ripe Raspberry card stock and Black & White Stripes paper. The sentiment is from the fabulous Sweet Nothings stamp set.

Lots of Hearts Stencil

We are only three days away from the big day! All the new stamps and Die-namics will be available on Tuesday, January 8 at 10:00am EDT. Be sure to check out the MFT Blog to see all the new items being revealed today. Don't forget to leave a comment on the MFT Blog countdown posts, YOU could win one of the five $75.00 gift vouchers.

I have two cards to share with you today that both feature the new Lots of Heart Stencil. Oh how I love this stencil! I had way too much fun inking it up with a rainbow of colourful ink.  I used Festive Berries, Picked Raspberry, Spiced Marmalade, Mustard Seed, Twisted Citron, Broken China, and Wilted Violet Distress Ink.

I used a sentiment from the fabulous Sweet Nothings stamp set on both cards. I usually prefer sentiments on black card stock with rainbow colours, but I think I prefer the white sentiment label this time.

Lots of Hearts

Thank you for joining me as we count down to the MFT release. We are four days away from the big day! All the new Stamps and Die-namics will be available on Tuesday, January 8 at 10:00 am EDT. Be sure to check out the MFT Blog to see all the new items being revealed today. Don't forget to leave a comment on the MFT Blog countdown posts, YOU could win one of the five $75.00 gift vouchers.

I have a couple of simple cards to share with you today, the first one features the Lots of Hearts Die-namics and the Sweet Nothings stamp set. I die-cut the hearts from a sheet of card stock created with peach, yellow, and orange alcohol ink, that was finished with a touch of gold foil.

For my second card, I used the Lots of Hearts Outlines Die-namics. These dies coordinate with the Lots of Hearts Die-namics, but they can also be used alone. I die-cut a sheet of card stock created with pink and purple alcohol ink. Once again, the sentiment is from the Sweet Nothings stamp set.
