Today I am sharing a project with one of my favourtie dies from this release, the Snowflake Window Die-namics. As soon as I saw this die I knew I was going to make a luminaria. To start I die-cut pieces of Brushed Silver card stock with the Snowflake Window Die-namics. I cut two pieces of Blueberry card stock to 8 1/2" x 5" and scored each piece at 3 3/4" and 7 1/2". These two pieces will create the four walls of the luminaria.
I placed a rectangle die centered in the middle of each pannel, and I die-cut out the rectangle. I added sheets of vellum to the backside of the card stock, and then I adhered the silver snowflake windows to the front side of the card stock. The two pieces of card stock were then folded and adhered together.
I created a top for the luminaria, you certainly don't need to, but I like the way it finishes things off. I cut the top piece at 4"x4" and I scored all sides at 3/8". I used a battery operated light for the candle.
