Sweet Winter Wishes

I hope you have enjoyed all the release products and design team projects this month. I have one more to share with you today. My card features the fabulous Circle Trio Shaker Window & Frame Die-namics and the Circle Trio Shaker Pouches. This is such a fun set of products to work with. For this card, I paired them the Scenic Snow Globe Die-namics. Don't those little snowmen look cute?

To turn the circles into ornaments I used a little tab from Tag Builder Blueprints 6. I adhered Ultimate adhesive to the back of the card stock before I cut the circle frame and the top of the ornament, this makes for quick and easy assembly.

When I assembled the ornaments on the card front, I wanted the little tab to be behind the circle frame, but I didn't want to secure the tab down right away. I placed a small piece of the adhesive backing behind the tab to stop it from sticking to the card stock. This allowed me to add the twine a little later.

I made a quick and easy template that I store with the Circle Trio Shaker Window & Frame Die-namics. I use this to line up the images so I can see how they will appear in the circles.

When putting together a triple shaker like this, don't forget to treat is shaker as an individual unit. That way your sequins or glitter will stay in each of the circle pouches and they won't escape.

Thank you so much for joining me again today. I hope you learned a tip or two. Be sure to check out the MFT Blog to see all the amazing creations the design team has to share with you today.

  1. Super cute card! I love the idea of making a template to line up your images. I'm going to do that with some of my other 'window' dies.

  2. Thanks for that astonishing simple and effective tip.

  3. I love this! It's nice to have the 3 circles cut at the same time...nice & even! I also love that the three circle shakers fit the die cut area perfectly . Genius!

  4. How cute are these little guys! Love them peeking out of the windows! đź’•

  5. Love the simplicity of this card!
