Birds of a Feather Card Kit

The fabulous Birds of a Feather Card Kit is available now! You will want to grab yours before they sell out.

For my card today, I die-cut everything in No-Line Coloring and Woodgrain card stock. I coloured both types of card stock with Copics. I added a few extra details with watercolor pencils and a white gel pen. The background was created with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink and the Cloud Stencil.

The sweet sentiment is from the From the Heart stamp set, it was stamped on a sentiment flag from the Hearts in a Row - Horizontal Die-namics.

Let's Get Tipsy

I have a fun card to share with you today. It is one of the cards I created for the participants at the recent MFT Retreat. The front of the card is a shaker card that features the fabulous Martini Shaker Window & Frame Die-namics and Spirited Sentiments stamp set. I filled the shaker with all sorts of red diamonds and sequins.

The inside of the card is a spinner card. If you wind up the martini glass before closing the card, the martini glass will spin when you open the card.

Birds of a Feather Card Kit

I have another sweet card to share with you today, it features the fabulous new kit, Birds of a Feather. The Birds of a Feather card kit will be available at 9pm EDT on Tuesday, June 26.

To create this card I started with the birds. I die-cut the birds in No-Line Coloring Card Stock, and I colored them with Copics. I added a few feathers with watercolor pencils.  The birdhouse was created with the Birdhouse Die-namics and Cherry Wood card stock, the accents were done in Milk Chocolate card stock.

The sweet love you sentiment is the new Free with $60 Die-namics this month, Simply Love You and Hello.

Birds of a Feather Card Kit

We've got a fun kit for you this month! The Birds of a Feather card kit will be available at 9pm EDT on Tuesday, June 26. This kit is full of fabulous dies!

For my card today, I pulled out some white card stock and my distress inks. I inked up the background in Broken China, Picked Raspberry, and Seedless Preserves. I created the birdhouse with the fabulous new Birdhouse Die-namics. It was die-cut in Ranger Woodgrain and Black Licorice card stock. The bird and the flowers were also die-cut in white card stock. I coloured each piece by sponging on distress ink.

The sentiment, from the You Wow Me stamp set, was stamped on a Black Licorice Essential Sentiment Strip.

Who can resist a bird in leg warmers and a headband? Since every great workourt should end with a cocktail,  I paired the toucans with the Margarita Shaker Window & Frame Die-namics.

The new Stitched Blooms Die-namics are sure to be a favorite die on my stamp desk. I can see myself reaching for them over and over again. For this card, I went for a peach and coral color combination with bright green leaves. The sentiment, is one of our older dies, Twice the Thanks.

The inside of the card has a cool book-style fold. I stamped the background with the Distressed Patterns and Lemon Chiffon premium Dye Ink.  The sentiment is from the Kind Thanks stamp set.
