I created quite a few cards featuring the Triangle STAX Die-namics, Anything-but-Basic Friendship stamp set, and Friend Duo Die-namics. I am sharing three of them with you here today. I have to tell you that I got seriously inky creating these cards. I made a HUGE mess, but I loved every minute of it!

I used six sheets of Yupo paper, and I used rainbow colored Alcohol Inks on each one.

Red - Crimson, Poppyfield, and Watermelon
Orange - Sunset Orange, Valencia
Yellow - Dandelion, Lemonade, and Sunshine Yellow
Green - Botanical, Citrus, Limeade
Blue - Aquamarine, Patina
Purple - Raspberry, Wild Plum, and Purple Twilight

Once the sheets were dry, I die-cut a ton of triangles out of each one. I mentioned this tip the other day, when I die-cut sheets of alcohol ink, I place a piece of copy paper on top of them. This will catch any excess ink that may be on the card stock and it will stop the ink from staining your dies. Once everything was cut, I got to work creating abstract rainbows.

I stamped a sentiment from the Anything-but-Basic Friendship stamp set on each card.

Thank you so much for joining me all week. I hope we have inspired you to create something amazing! Be sure to check out the MFT Blog to see all the fantastic creations the design team has created to share with you. Don't forget to comment for your chance to win a gift voucher.

  38. Ooo, I saw the top one on the sneak peeks and I thought "YESSSSS! That's perfect!" That's great you were able to make a series of them using the alcohol ink pages you made. I particularly like how you layered the inks such that there's an illusion that the triangles are lit internally. You did a great job finding the perfect bit of paper to cut out for each triangle. Thanks so much for sharing; I love graphic cards like this!
