Friend

It's time for another color challenge. We have a gorgeous color combination for you this week. I inked up the beautiful Pressed Flowers and In Bloom stamp sets. The flowers were stamped in Coral Crush and Peach Bellini Premium Dye Ink. The leaves were inked in Cement Gray. I really love the look of the leaves in gray.

The Bundles of Balloons card kit is available now! Quick, go get one, I'm sure they won't last long!

For my card today I created a bouquet of balloons for this sweet little bunny to hold. The bunny is from the Bubble Over with Joy stamp set, isn't she cute? I stamped the image on X-Press It card stock and colored it with Copics.

We've got a fun surprise for you this month. You could win one of five gift vouchers! We are hiding five gift vouchers in five random kits.

Happy, Happy Day!

Our new kit is full of color and lots of balloons! It's perfect for birthdays. The Bundle of Balloons Kit will be available Tuesday, March 20 at pm EDT.

For my card today, I focused on some of the blues, greens, and purples in the kit. I added a touch of white pencil to the upper left side of the balloons. I find that little touch makes such a difference to the balloon. I wanted the strings on this card to be free-flowing, I used some single strands of DMC floss.

Let's Celebrate You

We've got an amazing card kit for you this month. It's full of color and lots of balloons! The Bundle of Balloons Kit will be available Tuesday, March 20 at pm EDT.

I created a sweet and simple card today. I used a rainbow of card stock from the kit to create the colorful balloons. I die-cut the strings in Smooth White and added a little white reflection on each of the balloons. As always, I added adhesive to my card stock before I die-cut the balloons and letters.

Stitched with Love - Birthday Edition

We are back with another edition of Stitched with Love, this month we are focusing on birthdays. I created three tags using the new MFT birthday patterns, that can be found in the resources section of the MFT website.

I die-cut the tags in Desert Storm card stock. I used some fairly bold colors, but I wanted to make the images pop a little more, so I outlined them with one strand of black thread.

I topped off the tags with some wide striped ribbon, and a piece of black twine.

Best Friend Ever

I hope you all enjoyed the release last week. If you haven't had a chance to check it out yet, be sure you do. All the new products can be found HERE

I have a couple more rainbow cards to share with you today. Once again, they feature Triangle STAX Die-namics, Anything-but-Basic Friendship stamp set, and Friend Duo Die-namics. For these two cards, I designed a linear rainbow instead of an abstract one.

I created five cards from six sheets of Yupo paper. These are the colors of alcohol inks that I used on each sheet.

Red - Crimson, Poppyfield, and Watermelon
Orange - Sunset Orange, Valencia
Yellow - Dandelion, Lemonade, and Sunshine Yellow
Green - Botanical, Citrus, Limeade
Blue - Aquamarine, Patina
Purple - Raspberry, Wild Plum, and Purple Twilight

I stamped a sentiment from the Anything-but-Basic Friendship stamp set on each card.

Easter Treats

I have a fun trio of treats to share with you today. I created three stitched Easter Tags using a few of the new Easter Patterns that MFT just uploaded. Aren't they sweet?

The tags were created with the fabulous Cross-Stitch Tag Die-namics. I used the following DMC Floss, 744, 340. 603. 3348, and 827. The ribbon was old MFT ribbon that I had in my stash. I knew I was keeping it for a reason.

The sentiments are from the Somebunny Sweet stamp set, I stamped them on tags created with the Hearts in a Row - Vertical Die-namics.

Sending You a Handmade Hug

I hope you all enjoyed the release countdown this past week. I have a new sketch card to share with you today. It features one of the new sets from the release, Beautiful Day which is a sweet, whimsical set. I stamped the tulips on X-Press It card stock and I coloured them with Copics. I wanted the circles to match the flowers, so I cut them X-Press It card stock and coloured them with Copics. I framed the tulips with a piece of Black & White Stripes Patterned Paper.

Please remember to visit each of the MFT Designers' March New Product Launch posts on the MFT Blog and leave a comment by the end of the day on Thursday, March 8 for your chance to WIN one of two, $100 Gift Vouchers. Ready? Set. Comment!

I created quite a few cards featuring the Triangle STAX Die-namics, Anything-but-Basic Friendship stamp set, and Friend Duo Die-namics. I am sharing three of them with you here today. I have to tell you that I got seriously inky creating these cards. I made a HUGE mess, but I loved every minute of it!

I used six sheets of Yupo paper, and I used rainbow colored Alcohol Inks on each one.

Red - Crimson, Poppyfield, and Watermelon
Orange - Sunset Orange, Valencia
Yellow - Dandelion, Lemonade, and Sunshine Yellow
Green - Botanical, Citrus, Limeade
Blue - Aquamarine, Patina
Purple - Raspberry, Wild Plum, and Purple Twilight

Once the sheets were dry, I die-cut a ton of triangles out of each one. I mentioned this tip the other day, when I die-cut sheets of alcohol ink, I place a piece of copy paper on top of them. This will catch any excess ink that may be on the card stock and it will stop the ink from staining your dies. Once everything was cut, I got to work creating abstract rainbows.

I stamped a sentiment from the Anything-but-Basic Friendship stamp set on each card.

Thank you so much for joining me all week. I hope we have inspired you to create something amazing! Be sure to check out the MFT Blog to see all the fantastic creations the design team has created to share with you. Don't forget to comment for your chance to win a gift voucher.

You might need your sunglasses for my card today. I used the Sunrise Radiating Rays Stencil with a few of my favourite Distress Inks, Mustard Seed, Spiced Marmalade, Picked Raspberry, and Seedless Preserves.
I couldn't decide if the YAY would look better in white or black, the black was a bit more dramatic, so I went with that.

Thanks for joining me again today and thank you all so much for all of the sweet comments. Be sure to check out the MFT Blog to see all the amazing creations the design team has to share with you today.

You're All Kinds of Amazing

Thank you for joining me as we count down to the MFT release. We are just two short days away from the big day! All the new Stamps and Die-namics will be available on Tuesday, March 6 at 9:00 pm EST. Be sure to check out the MFT Blog to see all the new items being revealed today. Don't forget to leave a comment on the MFT Blog countdown posts, YOU could win one of the five $75.00 gift vouchers.

I have a fun card to share with you today, it features the fabulous Triangle STAX Die-namics. I had way too much fun using this set of dies with Alcohol Inks.  I used Patina and Aquamarine Alcohol ink, I LOVE this color combination. Once the inks dried, I cut the card stock with the Triangle STAX. When I am using dies on alcohol inked card stock, I usually place a piece of copy paper over the ink, this helps to keep any excess ink from getting on my dies.

I stamped the sentiment from the Essential Sentiments stamp set on a flag created with the Hearts in a Row - Horizontal Die-namics.
