Beary Christmas

Are you ready for a fun color challenge? The sweater on this cute little polar bear seemed like the perfect canvas to use the colours in this week's challenge.

I stamped the images from Polar Pals on X-Press It card stock and I coloured them with Copics. The hills were created with the fabulous Stitched Snow Drifts Die-namics.

Tic, Tac, Toe

Some of my favourite MFT products are the Tic, Tac, Toe collection of stamps, dies, shaker pouches, and X's and O's. I just love playing with this collection. My card today would be perfect to send to a young person who needed a little extra encouragement.

I paired an Orange Zest print from the Itsy Bitsy Polka Dot Patterned Paper Pack, with the White Tic, Tac, Toe pieces and a Square Shaker Pouch.

The sentiment from the X's and O's stamp set was stamped in Blu Raspberry and Orange Zest Premium Dye Ink.

Season's Greetings

We have a fun color challenge for you this week. I decided to use this color combination to create a Christmas card. The colours are far from usual for a Christmas card, but that's what I love about it. I used Let it Snowflake and Let it Snowflake Too Die-namics, along with Blue Yonder, Blueberry, Pineapple, and Safety Orange card stock.

The sentiment is from the Snowfall of Blessings stamp set.

Snowflake Splendor Card Kit

I have a few more projects to share with you today featuring the new Snowflake Splendor Card Kit which will be available Tuesday, October 17 9pm EST. 

The kit includes many gorgeous colours of card stock, I picked two of the purples, Lavender Fields and Wild Wisteria, for my projects today. I used the Layered Snowflakes Die-namics to create the snowflakes. I love the dimension you can create with these fabulous dies.

I like to make matching tags for my Christmas cards. I used a couple of the smaller snowflakes to create this one.

Snowflake Splendor Card Kit

We have a gorgeous new kit for you this month! The Snowflake Splendor Card Kit will be available Tuesday, October 17 9pm EST. 

I have a couple of cards to share with you today, the first one is very simple. To create the snowflakes I used the Layered Snowflakes Die-namics with Pink Lemonade and Bubblegum card stock. I added a touch of glitter to the snowflakes to give them that extra little sparkle.

For my second card, I went for a completely different look. I used the Snowflake Splendor stamp set to stamp the snowflakes in Sno Cone and Blueberry Premium Dye Ink. The sentiment is from Handwritten Holiday, it was stamped in Summer Splash Premium Dye Ink. I added a touch of sparkle to this card with the layer of Silver Sparkle card stock.

Cross-Stitch Tags

I hope you all enjoyed the release last week. If you haven't had a chance to check it out yet, be sure you do. All the new products can be found HERE. 

I have a couple of Cross-Stitch Tags to share with you today. The first one is a simple candy cane. I used the full 6 strands of DMC floss 321 and the white, and one strand of 909 for the pop of green. I added a candy cane striped paper to the top and bottom of the tag. I finished it off with some bright ribbon and a sentiment from the Snow Globe Sentiments stamp set.

For my second tag, I created a simple Christmas tree. Again, I used 6 strands of DMC floss, the colors are 986, 321, and 838. I also used some Silver DMC thread, I doubled up the thread to achieve the desired thickness. The sentiment, from the Snow Globe Sentiments stamp set, was embossed in silver.

I have two sets of lip balm treats to share with you today. Both sets of tags feature the Lip Balm Pouches, Lip Balm Window & Frame Die-namics, and Tall Tag Duo Die-namics. My first duo of treats is perfect for Halloween treat bags. I coloured a few small images from the Fab-BOO-lous Friends stamp set and I paired them with some patterned paper in black, orange, and green.

For my second set of lip balm tags, I went for a Christmas theme. I stamped a couple of bears from the Bitty Bears stamp set and coloured them with Copics. The sentiment is from the Snow Globe Sentiments stamp set, I stamped it on a tag form the Tag Builder Blueprints 6 Die-namics.

Both sets of lip balm tags were finished off with a bright piece of ribbon and a twine bow.

The Tic Tac Toe group of products is one of my favorites. While they are great for Valentine's Day cards, they also work well for masculine, friendship, encouragement, and even cards for kids.  My first card features the Square Shaker Pouches and the Tic Tac Toe - White pieces. As you can see, I like to glue down the tic tac toes pieces. I guess that means that this isn't really a shaker card. :)

For my second card, I decided to make a card using the Tic Tac Toe Die-namics and the Square Shaker Window & Frame Die-namics. I used Blu Raspberry and Orange Zest card stock and ink, I seriously love this color combination.

I have a couple of projects to share with you today, they both feature one of my favorite products from this release, the Cross-Stitch Tag Die-namics. I have enjoyed cross-stitching since I was very young, and I usually have at least one project going at any given time. I love when I can combine a couple of hobbies into one project. 

I used a couple of colours of DMC floss on my tag, 156, 157, and white. I used all 6 threads for the cross stitches, and 3 threads for backstitching around the stitched image. The sentiment is from the Hand Lettered Holiday stamp set.

I did something a little different on my next tag, instead of stitching an image, I stitched a background. I used DMC Floss 321 and 3347 to create a diagonal design. I finished off the stitching with a silver thread frame. The sweet little image is from the new Happy Pawlidays stamp set, I stamped it on a piece of X-Press It card stock and I coloured it with Copics.
