I have two cards to share with you today, both feature the same colour scheme but in slightly different shades. I stamped the black outline of the butterfly on Smooth White card stock and then I die-cut them with the coordinating dies. The butterflies were coloured with Copics and the Wink of Stella pen.
Of course the shimmer looks much better in person than it does in the photograph. Why does shimmer have to be so difficult to photograph?

ReplyDeleteTwo lovely cards with a sense of subtle movement in each. I like the way you did this with you color gradations, the die-cut circles, and the stitch-like swirl. The colorful "distress" lines set the perfect background for each. Thanks for sharing!
