Sending Thankful Thoughts

I don't know about you, but I LOVE warm fall colors. There is just something about them that makes me feel warm and cozy. For this weeks Sketch Challenge I inked up the older Fall Foliage stamp set with some of my favourite fall colors.

I stamped the images in Daffodil, Gumdrop Green, Tangy Orange, Paver Red, and Hot Fudge Premium Dye Ink on Kraft card stock. Once the images were all stamped, I die-cut them with the Fall Foliage Die-namics. I created the rounded square from a piece of watercolor card stock that was die-cut with the Inside & Out Stitched Rounded Square STAX Die-namics. The ombre effect was created with Peerless Watercolors.

I stamped the background with the fabulous Burlap Background stamp. The sentiment is from the Pure Innocence Thankful Friend stamp set. A few sequins were the finishing touch.

Thanks so much for joining me today. Be sure to check out the MFT Challenge Blog to see what the MFT Challenge Team has created with this fun sketch. I'll be back on Friday with my first MFT countdown post for the October release.

Happy Holidays

I have a fairly simple holiday card to share with you today. I didn't use any stamps, just a few fabulous dies, card stock, adhesive, and a touch of shine. :)

I die-cut the Christmas Tree from a piece of Chevron pattern paper and a piece of After Midnight card stock. The chevron pieces were inlaid within the After Midnight card stock. The sentiment was created with the Christmas Greetings Die-namics and Wild Cherry card stock. I added a thick layer of Glossy Accents to the sentiment to make it pop off the page.

Thanks so much for joining me today. I'll be back Wednesday morning with a sketch challenge card, and then the release countdown for the MFT holiday release begins on Friday.

Make a Wish

I have a sweet and simple card to share with you today. It features the colors from the most recent MFT Color Challenge, Lemon Chiffon, Gumdrop Green, Spearmint, and Tropical Teal. The Blueprints 18 Die-namics provided the basic layout for the card. I LOVE this set of Blueprints! For the balloons I used a couple of prints from our patterned paper collection and a piece of Lemon Chiffon card stock, along with the Party Balloons Die-namics.

The sentiment is a combination of the Count the Stars stamp set, and Count the Stars Die-namics, Stars & Wishes Die-namics. I finished off the sentiment with a touch of Glossy Accents.

Be sure to check out the MFT Challenge Blog to see all the amazing entries for this Color Challenge.
