Two Days Until the New Release

Thank you for joining me as we count down to the next MFT release. We are just two short days away from the big day! All the new Stamps, Die-namics, and Stencils will be available on Tuesday, November 11th at 10:00pm EST. Be sure to check out the MFT Blog to see all the new items being revealed today. Don't forget to leave a comment on the MFT Blog. Countdown posts, YOU could win one of the seven $75.00 gift vouchers.

I have two cards to share with you today. The first one features the fabulous Christmas Tree Cutout Die-namics and the Blueprints 20 Die-namics.

I die-cut the Christmas Tree in Kraft and Sour Apple card stock. I used the stitched zig zag die from the Blueprints 20 Die-namics to create a pattern on the Christmas tree. I stitched the zig zag pattern with some red floss. The tree pieces were then laid inside the Kraft card stock.

The sentiments on this card are from two different Pure Innocence sets, PI Overflowing Joy and PI Christmas Banner. The small tree at the bottom of the card is from the Tag Builder 2 Blueprints Die-namics.

My next card features the new Stitched with Love stamp set and Stitched with Love Die-namics. This is such a sweet set. It is full of great sentiments that you can mix and match to create the perfect sentiment for your card. Here I stamped the sew in Blu Raspberry Premium Dye Ink on Kraft card stock. The rest of the sentiment was stamped in Black Licorice Hybrid Ink. The sentiments were stamped on a Stitched Rounded Rectangle.

The Stitched with Love stamp set and Die-namics includes all sorts of fun sewing items, the spools are one of my favourites. I love that the top and bottom of the spools are separate dies, this makes it so easy to create realistic looking spools.

Once again, I have used the Blueprints 20 to create the main layers on this card. The Grapesicle card stock was stamped with the Swiss Dots Background and Grapesicle Premium Dye Ink. I finished off the card with a button from the Stitched with Love Die-namics.

Thank you again for joining me again today. Be sure to check out the MFT Blog to see all the gorgeous creations the design team have to share with you today.

  7. Both cards were adorable. Zigzag was great, but I would probably have used a marker instead of thread (I tend to tear things when I stitch). Thanks for sharing!
