Hello

I'm playing along with another Cutting Edge Challenge today. I loved the texture on the white card stock and the pop of bright colors on the inspiration piece. Those were the two key elements that I had in mind when I was creating this card.

I embossed a piece of Smooth White card stock with the Cloudy Day Stencil. Depending on the pattern of the stencil, this method of embossing can cause your card stock to warp slightly. My card stock was looking a little wonky, so I added another piece of card stock to the embossed piece to help flatten it out.

The balloons were die-cut with the fabulous Balloon STAX Die-namics. I added a little bit of shading to the left hand side of each of the balloons. Each ballon was then tied with a piece of black hemp cord.

To create the word hello, I die-cut three pierced strips using a die from Blueprints 3. I adhered the stops together with some Scor Tape and then I die-cut the hello. To give the hello that fabulous shine, I added a thick layer of Crystal Effects.
