A Few More Birthday Cards

I hope you are not sick of seeing birthday cards on my blog this week, as I have a few more to share with you today. :)

I couldn't resist making at least one more card with the fabulous Bring on the Cake Die-namics. I absolutely love this set! I die-cut the cake from Primitive Cream card stock and I stamped the sentiments in Black Licorice Hybrid Ink. The icing was die-cut in Wild Cherry Card stock. I stamped the background with the Happy Birthday Background.

On the inside of the card, I stamped a sentiment from the Delicious Birthday stamp set.

For my second card, I had some fun with the new Balloon STAX Die-namics

I stamped a piece of Nightshift Blue card stock with the Happy Birthday Background. I then die-cut the card stock with the large balloon. Instead of using the die-cut itself, I used the negative part of the die-cut. I placed a number of pierced strips behind the balloon to create a brightly coloured, striped ballon.

The sentiments are both from the Birthday Chalkboard Greetings stamp set.

Thank you again for joining me this week. I hope you have enjoyed our birthday celebrations. Be sure to stop by the MFT Blog to see all the gorgeous creations the team has to share with you.
