You Rock!

It's a day of changes for the MFT Design Team.  We are saying goodbye to a few fabulous ladies and we are welcoming a new member. Head on over to the MFT Blog to find out all the details. :)

I created this card to welcome our newest team member. She's quite the rock star! I used the Accent It - Rock and Roll Die-namics along with some bright card stock. The sentiment is from the Document It - Rock On stamp set.

On the inside of the card, I used a sentiment from the Happy Graduation stamp set and a few enamel dots.

If you enjoy using dies the way that I do, you may want to check out the newest challenge blog on the block, the Cutting Edge. My card today was inspired by their first challenge.

Thank You Card

I have another thank you card to share with you today. I actually created this card over a month ago, I just haven't had a chance to blog it until now. The card was inspired by the WSC177 sketch

I stamped the Kraft card stock with the Linen Background stamp in Kraft Hybrid Ink.  Have you noticed that I tend to use the Linen stamp on almost everything? I can't help it, I LOVE this background! I also used the Grid Background stamp on the Fishtail Flag.

The sentiment is from the On the Line stamp set, it was stamped in Nightshift Blue Premium Dye Ink

I kept the inside of the card fairly simple, just a few circles and another fishtail flag.

I have lots of new things to share with you next week, so be sure to join me again soon.

Love - Anniversary Card

It's time for another MFT Wednesday Stamp Club Sketch. This week's sketch has a large front panel that was the perfect size for the new Peek-a-Boo Alphabet Uppercase Die-namics.

I lined up the letters on a piece of Smooth White card stock and I secured them with a piece of masking tape, before I ran them through my Vagabond.  I used a simple backstitch and DMC floss to stitch the letters.

I stamped the piece of Steel Grey card stock with the Romantic Script Background stamp and Steel Grey Hybrid Ink. Along the bottom of the card, I used a Pink Lemonade Vertical Stitched Strip, which was stamped with the Linen Background stamp and Pink Lemonade Hybrid Ink. I really love using these two background stamps together!

On the inside of the card, I stamped a sentiment from the Together Forever stamp set. I finished off the card with a heart from the Peek-a-Boo Heart Frames Die-namics.

We would love for you to play along! You can link your sketch card here.
